4/30/11 Due to current issues within our family OUR SHELTERING IS CLOSING!!!! All remaining adoptable pets needs to be placed as soon as possible. We will no longer be accepting animals for adoption. ********Please make sure you stop and visit us @ http://bfsnr.blogspot.com.........too. This site shows our home and pics of our family and some of the pets we care for. Thank you for visiting our website. We have many wonderful pets available for adoption and hope that one might be the forever friend you're looking for. Our shelter is not for profit and ALL adoption fees and donations are always payable to our veterinarians. Our family ,along with other donations to the vet, support the expense of our shelter, such as vaccinations, medications, vet charges and flea/tick preventatives. THANK YOU TO BUDDY'S MOM LOU ANN NOLL & FRIENDS @ WALMART in SILOAM SPRINGS, AR FOR YOUR FOOD DONATIONS. WE COULDN'T MAKE IT WITHOUT YOU!!!! As of 11/2010 we provide sanctuary for 16 special residence and as it goes with the slow rate of adoption for special needs and senior pets, our numbers continue to grow. We really appreciate the support we receive from donations. Caring for the elderly and those with disabilities is an expensive endeavor. Dibilitating health issues and the need for medications and surgeries tends to increase with age. If you are interested in donating and would like to see first hand where your money is spent, we welcome you to visit us. Since my husbands death in 2006, my 7 children and I (11/2010 update We're engaged! My fiance also embraces our love and care for these special pets. Interestingly, his mother worked as a volunteer for 15 years at the Fayetteville animal shelter!) continue to struggle with the expenses of supporting our rescue. Our efforts and focus is to provide a safe loving sanctuary for the pets in our care. Most of the animals that remain with us are abandoned seniors or those with disabilities including blindness, loss of hearing, neurological disorders, seizures and or missing/paralyzed limbs. If you viisit our happy tails you will see the numerous pets we have placed with their forever families over years. PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING OUR RESCUE EFFORTS AND THOSE WHO ARE PERMANENTLY IN OUR CARE. WE ESPECIALLY NEED HELP WITH FRONTLINE FLEA/TICK PREVENTATIVES,meds, ANDIS SHEARING TIPS, BUT ANYTHING IS APPRECIATED! You may contact one of our veterinarians if you would like to donate at 918-696-5867 Patterson Animal Clinic or 479-824-3299 Lincoln Vet Clinic. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY SUPPORT. Feel free to call or arrange a visit anytime. Note: Bailey Family Special Needs Rescue reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come-first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
