Please remember is to spay and neuter your pet as soon as your vet recommends, usually around six months old. Timely spaying and neutering controls the homeless pet population as well as also reduces the risks of certain cancers in your pet later in life.
Who We Are
New Hope Animal Hospital is a full service, six doctor hospital. New Hope Animal Hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. Only 11% of the veterinary hospitals and clinics in the United States and Canada are accredited by AAHA. AAHA conducts regular inspections and reviews of our facilities and procedures. Only veterinary hospitals meeting the highest standards are accredited by this association.
Adopting a friend
Our Adoption Program:
The adoption program itself has been in effect for several years. We have two official adoption coordinators, Melinda S.(cats/kittens) and Amanda H. (dogs/puppies). Each are in charge of taking in, adopting out, and following up on the species they are in charge of.
Each animal that is accepted into the clinic, receives a complete examination upon arrival and begins a vaccination and deworming schedule. All adult dogs are tested for heartworms also.
An adoption fee and completed adoption agreement for each pet is required by the prospective owner. The fee pays for the animal's spay/neuter at or before six months of age. If the animal is four months of age or older, sometimes an additional fee for a Rabies vaccination is also required at the time of adoption.
