ABOUT US
Northwest Arkansas Animal Rescue, Inc., an all-volunteer run organization, was created for the protection of animals and elimination of euthanasia through education and low-cost spay/neuter services. We are on the forefront of a region-wide spay and neuter program to reduce pet overpopulation, the major cause of unnecessary euthanasia.
DID YOU KNOW?
Seven dogs and cats are born every day for each person born in the US. Of those, only 1 in 5 puppies and kittens stay in their original home for his/her natural lifetime. The remaining 4 are abandoned to the streets or end up at a shelter. Source: The Humane Society of the United States
This is why spaying and neutering are our #1 priorities!
Each day hundreds of animals are put down in our local city shelters, neglected by the people who should be caring for them, starving in our neighborhoods and more are run over in our streets. It is time to stop this unnecessary violence by educating and assisting in any way that we can. But we need your help to do it.

Become a foster home, adopt a homeless animal, spay or neuter an unsterilized animal in your neighborhood.. the list goes on. Want more ideas on how you can help? Just ask! You can make a huge difference with very little work... the animals just need YOU.

Become a part of the Northwest Arkansas spay/neuter movement! NWAAR is working to create the first and only mobile spay/neuter clinic in Arkansas. That's right, with your help we can bring veterinary services to the areas where it's needed most. This unit's total cost will be $160,000 which does not include the supplies that will be necessary to operate - which is why we need your help. And this is just one of the many ways that YOU can help! Consider these:
1. Make a one-time donation in honor of someone's birthday or achievement.
2. Christmas is coming!.. instead of wasting money on a gift that someone doesn't even need, make a gift to NWAAR in their name. That money will actually save a life this holiday!
3. Corporate sponsorships available with thanks on our website.
4. Sign up for a monthly tax-deductible donation.
5. Planned giving: put NWAAR in your will. It's easy!

The animals thank you! *Please write on check subject line if you have a specific program you wish the money to be for.* Of course, 100% of your donation will help homeless animals!!

We're very sorry but Northwest Arkansas Animal Rescue is at its capacity and can not accept any additional owner turnover at this time. However, we can help you with the process of placing a pet. PLEASE BEWARE: make sure you are adopting-out to responsible, loving families only. Need more information on how to adopt-out? Please send an email to: ArkansasAnimals@gmail.com for information on how to safely adopt-out a homeless pet you've found or if you must re-home your own pet.
Their life depends on you. A fact we must face is that there is no shelter large enough or wealthy enough to take-in all of the homeless animals out there. That's why we all must do our own part!

WHO WE ARE
Northwest Arkansas Animal Rescue is an all volunteer run, not-for-profit organization created solely to help animals in need. We're working with local shelters on special cases, getting to know our government officials for the betterment of animal-welfare laws and of course, providing low-cost spay/neuter and adoptions to the public.

VOLUNTEER
