The Friends of Ward Shelter is a new organizing non profit group that is forming to help with the programs and services the City of Ward has begun. The group will also be able to offer the citizens of Ward services that the city might not be able to financially offer. By forming an positive alliance with the Ward Animal Control we believe we will see changes that will benefit the city. This has been done and proven effective in other Arkansas cities. It has been proven that when citizens get involved, when they are willing to share their talents and gifts, when they come together to make a difference, a difference takes place. We believe it will be no different in Ward.
The Friends of Ward Shelter meet monthly on the fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm. Meetings take place at the Ward City Annex unless annouced otherwise.
