You know that you’ll never wear that neon pink sweater again, and the dishes that you bought on sale at the store close-out two years ago are just gathering dust in the attic. Isn’t it time that you cleared out all of these unwanted items from your life?! Angels’ Care is hosting its Seventh Ever Dog-Gone Rummage Sale. Not only do you help a good cause, but you will also get a slip for a tax deduction, so it’s a win-win situation! Please e-mail Angels_Care@comcast.net to arrange a pick-up of your donated items.

Our Featured Pets

~ Hula Girl ~

What a strikingly beautiful girl! Hula Girl is a combination of a Catahoula and Blue Heeler, and as you can see, that makes for a wonderful combination. She is tri-colored with brown, white, and Blue Merle. The Blue Merle coloring is quite pronounced on her back area. Hula Girl's eyes are of different colors--one brown and one blue. She is approximately one and one-half years old and weighs 45 pounds.

Hula Girl is a little shy at first, but she is great once she gets to know you. She is happy, fun-loving, and very loyal. Hula Girl is an adventurous girl who always wants to see what is on the other side of the fence, so a privacy fence would be best suited for her. Hula Girl loves to be inside, but she will need supervision at first since she is still going through a chewing phase. Hula Girl is leash-trained and loves to go on walks in her neighborhood.

Hula Girl is up-to-date on her vaccinations, including her Rabies vaccination; is on flea and tick preventative; and has been spayed. Hula Girl tested positive for heartworms, but there was no presence of microfilariae. The vet advised to treat her with Ivermectin, which is also used as a heartworm preventative. Otherwise, the vet said that Hula Girl is one healthy girl.

Please contact Kathy Woods at gizmohouse@aristotle.net for more information on this sweetheart.

~ Jake ~

Jake is a sweet and gentle fellow who wants nothing more than to be loved. He is a beautiful big orange cat with sparkling green eyes and a pink nose. Jake loves to be petted, and he will instantly purr when he is touched.

This sweet guy was slated for euthanasia at a shelter because he was believed to be a feral cat. In reality, Jake is a big loving teddy bear and was undoubtedly very scared at the shelter. He ended up at the shelter after finding himself in a trap at a public park. We don't know anything further about his history, but we know that Jake now has a bright future ahead of him.

Jake has been neutered and has received his vaccinations, including his Rabies vaccination.

Please inquire at Angels_Care@comcast.net for more information on this very sweet boy.

~ Gracie ~

We believe that Gracie may be a Flat-Coated Retriever-mix with her beautiful longhaired black coat and striking eyes. Gracie is a sweet, high-spirited adult dog, weighing approximately 45 pounds, who enjoys popcorn as a treat, catching it in the air! Gracie's foster mom describes this sweet girl as "happy, happy, happy," and Gracie appears to even smile. Her foster mom says that Gracie exhibits no bad habits, and she is the sweetest dog who she has ever known. Someone has previously spent time with Gracie because she knows some commands i.e. "outside," lay down, " ... This cheerful and social girl will require lots of affection and attention from her new family.

Gracie is up-to-date on her vaccinations, including her Rabies vaccination; is on flea and tick preventative; is on heartworm preventative; and has been spayed. Gracie is considered housetrained and will dance at the door to be let out.

~ Hansel ~

Hansel is a goodlooking charcoal gray and white tuxedo kitty with beautiful amber eyes and a pink nose with a black splash. This boy is a tall, lean kitty, who is all legs. Hansel is a fun guy who is a lively conversationalist. His favorite activities are birdwatching, exploring his surroundings, and of course, carrying on a good conversation. Hansel does fine with other kitties.

Hansel has been neutered and has received his vaccinations.

Please inquire at Angels_Care@comcast.net for more information on this handsome guy.

Who We Are

Angels' Care Animal Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to providing temporary and permanent homes or shelter for abandoned, abused, and neglected animals; promoting humane education; and providing necessary or desirable medical treatment for sick and injured animals, as well as providing for and promoting the spay or neuter of animals.

Adopting a friend

Adopting a companion animal is a commitment to care for that pet for the rest of his or her life. The selection and interview process is thorough and not a process that can be rushed. Everyone interested in adopting a pet from Angels' Care must complete an adoption application. An adoption fee helps us defray the cost of the animal's boarding and medical care.

Please click on the individual cat's page for the adoption fee. The adoption fee may include spaying or neutering; all vaccinations they are old enough for, including the Feline Leukemia vaccination and the Rabies vaccination; and testing for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia. Please note: No test is 100 percent accurate for these viruses.

Please click on the individual dog's page for the adoption fee. The adoption fee may include spaying or neutering; all vaccinations they are old enough for, including the Rabies vaccination; and a heart worm test. Specific services included in the adoption fee are also located on the individual dog's page.

Our adoption specialists will work with you to make the best possible match and to make sure you have the information and resources you need to start enjoying your new friend. The adoption process may be time-consuming, but it's well worth it in the end--you adopt a pet that's right for you, and the pet gets a loving permanent home. We reserve the right to deny any adoption without explanation.
