| We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here. |
The City of Siloam Springs Animal Services is committed to the prevention of cruelty to animals through education and investigation of neglect and abuse. We also strive to find permanent loving homes for the abused, displaced and unwanted animals that pass through our doors and lowering that number through spay and neuter programs and providing information and resources concerning animal welfare, pet care and owner responsibility.
If you find an eligible adoptive pet that is appropriate for you and your family it is just a matter of completing the appropriate adoption related documents, paying the required fees and then picking up your pet from the veterinarian after the spay/neuter and rabies vaccinations.
We do not ship animals, so you must come by the shelter for adoption.
The local veterinary clinics are the key contributors to the success of our adoption program. They give our shelter adopters a 20% discount for each spay or neuter. Each adopter pays one half of the reduced fee up front and after the alteration has been performed the adopter pays the veterinarian the remaining balance.
