Our Pet Of The Day:
Who We Are:
We are a county and city funded, non-profit municipal animal control shelter dealing with dogs and cats. While we do offer shelter for as many animals as we have room to house and care for, unfortunately space, manpower and funding is severely limited. We do the best we can to provide a warm, comfortable and loving home for as long as we can. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the shelter; and caring, responsible and dependable permanent homes for the animals.
Adopting A Friend:
To adopt a new furry companion, stop by our office and fill out an Adoption Contract and pay a fee of $50 per cat or kitten and $55 per dog or puppy. This fee includes spay/neuter of adopted pet, one 7-in-1 vaccine (Dogs/Puppies) or one 5-in-1 vaccine (Cats/Kittens), one Rabies vaccine, one worming treatment. Adults must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter. They must also be fitted with a collar containing ID tag with the owner's name, address, and phone number; and a valid rabies tag. This collar must be provided by the adoptive family and worn at all times.
Can't adopt? There are many ways you can help local pets in need:
