We are a group of volunteers living in Hot Springs Village who formed the Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League to provide an alternative to the destruction of healthy, homeless dogs and cats. The objective is to provide the necessary veterinary care, love, socialization, and care to dogs and cats coming into our shelter to ensure their adoptability.
We depend on membership dues and donations for the purchase of food, veterinary care, cat litter, and miscellaneous expenses for care of the animals. Donations of items such as pet food, cat litter, blankets, towels and toys for the animals are greatly appreciated. We also recycle your aluminum cans for cash. Convenient outdoor drop off sites are located at the shelter (24/7) and the AWL dumpster at the POA Recycling Center on Cloaca Ln. (Mon.-Fri. 8:00-4:00)
