- Adoption Fee is $100, the fee pays for the spay/neuter for the animal and for him/her to be vaccinated for: Feline Distemper, Rabies, Dewormed, and with a Feline Felv/Fiv Test
Dogs:
- Adoption Fee is $100, the fee pays for the spay/neuter for the animal and for him/her to be vaccinated for: Boredella, Rabies, Distemper Parvo, Deworming, and a Heartworm Test
Dog/puppies are $100.00.
Cats/kittens are $100.00 .
We have many loving puppies, kittens, dogs and cats looking for love with a long and happy life. Please stop by our shelter and fall in love today. You could save the life of an abandoned/unwanted animal from our facility and give it a loving and healthy life. <
We can also use portable dog pens.

The Chattahoochee Humane Society is a non-profit orginazation dedicated to the care of homeless and abused animals in our area.
We serve all of Chambers County and all municipalities within Chambers County. We operate on local government contracts and donations.
We are a small shelter with 46 dog runs and 24 cat cages. We received over 4000 animals in 2008. We have 3 full-time and 3 part-time employees.
We work with rescue groups. If your rescue would like to help the pets at our shelter please give us a call at 334-756-9377. We will be over joyed to hear from you.
You must have a fenced yard to adopt an outside dog. If you are adopting an inside dog, you must have an outside pen or be willing to walk it on a leash as dogs will roam if left on their own. We will not adopt out a cat if it is to be declawed.
You must sign an adoption contract stating The Chattahoochee Humane Society has the right to protect the habitat of the animal at any reasonable time and remove the animal if any abuse or unsatisfactory treatment is found.
Any /All pets adopted from the Chattahoochee Humane Society must be Spayed/Neutered before leaving the facility, unless a Rescue with proper License from the State in which located.
