Our Featured Pet ... Isis


Isis was just minutes away from being put to sleep when the staff at the shelter called and asked us to please take her in and find her a good home. They felt she is a wonderful pup and is deserving of a good home. She is about 6-8 months old. She will be great as a service dog or a search and rescue. She is described as a FIELD LAB and will require an experienced handler. She is learning her basic commands now and is picking up on que's very quickly.She gets along well with other dogs but does show a little bit of resource guarding when showing other dogs attention but that is nothing that cannot be redirected. She gets along great with cats and loves children as she has shown at recent adoption events. Isis is an unaltered female but a spay certificate can be purchased for $45.00. She is UTD on all her shots including rabies. She is HW neg and on prevention. She is parisite free and on flea and tick prevention. Isis will come with a training collar and leash. A positive training course is mandatory. Isis will make a great addition to the right family.

Who We Are

We are a home based not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten unwanted pets in forever homes. We are not 501(c)3 yet but hope to attain our status later this spring or summer. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, strays, and unwanted pets prior to being euthanized. We do not adopt to outside only homes. Nor do we adopt cats to anyone who wishes to de-claw cats, or crop, dock or do any other alterations except spaying and neutering their pets. We highly recommend positive training methods once pets are placed in forever homes. All pets are completely vetted, UTD on all vaccines and given rabies certificates. All pets are spayed or neutered prior to adoptions with the exception of young pups or where health issues may cause problems.
