Cody was living where no one cared about him. Left him out in the cold and rain, heat and humidity. Starved and forgotten.
Now he is a handsome boy, full of life and eager to please. He is a gentle dog that would be good with a family that has children of any age.
He has excellent house manners so there is no puppy training here!
He gets along with all dogs but we do not know how he is with cats.
He will go in a crate but would rather curl up on the couch and sleep.
His playful side has come out and he is an affectionate boy.
Cody is HW negative. And a very healthy dog

We are a home based not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten unwanted pets in forever homes. We are a 501(c)3 tax-deductible rescue. All donations are greatly appreciated. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, strays, and unwanted pets prior to being euthanized. We do not adopt to outside only homes. Nor do we adopt cats to anyone who wishes to de-claw cats, or crop, dock or do any other alterations except spaying and neutering their pets. We highly recommend positive training methods once pets are placed in forever homes. All pets are completely vetted, UTD on all vaccines and given rabies certificates. All pets are spayed or neutered prior to adoptions with the exception of young pups or where health issues may cause problems.
Fosters and volunteers are needed. Please go to email@example.com . In subject line put foster or volunteer. If you know of any teenagers in your church or groups that would like to help with walking, bathing and training, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org . We are located in Kilpatrick AL (Dekalb/Marshall County lines).
