Who We Are

The Morgan Foundation was founded by Linda Morgan in memory of her late husband Col. Robert K. Morgan, WWII pilot of the famed B-17 Memphis Belle & the B-29 Dauntless Dotty, which led the 1st B-29 bombing raid on Tokyo on 24 Nov 1944.

Linda & Bob worked hundred of hours in his hometown Asheville, NC in animal rescue, fostering & providing spay/neuter & humane education to the public. After his death on 15 May 2004 Linda moved to Smith Lake, an hour north of Birmingham, AL..

She devotes her life to fostering & finding new homes for abandoned or injured dogs & cats. She specializes in special needs animals.

"I am a small private foundation which can accommodate only 10 homeless animals at a time, but these 10 receive the best care & nurturing possible. As the foundation grows financially I hope to expand."

My primary goal, however, is to educate the public about low cost spay/neuter options. When we can, we offer financial assistance to those who cannot afford to have their pet(s) altered.

We set up at pet shows and adoptions to proide free spay/neuter information. We work frequently with the AL Spay/Neuter Clinic, Irondale, AL 205-956-0012
