We are a LARGE BREED RESCUE located in Limestone County, Alabama. We do also from time to time take in special needs animals as well. We take in: Great Pyrenees and Bully Breeds such as American Pitbull Terriers, American Bulldogs, English Bulldogs and American Staffordshire Terriers and mixes of the previous listings. We are no longer excepting any other breeds. Some of our dogs even have AKC papers, but the papers DO NOT leave with the dog.

Who We Are
We are a NO KILL rescue in the Limestone County area that takes in homeless and death row animals from shelters and private individuals. Euthanizing is only exceptable when there is an extremely severe aggression problem. We get them fully vetted, temperment tested and socialized before adoption. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. We plan on starting obedience training as soon as financing is available.

Take into account a healthy dog's lifetime will cost you $4000 not considering they do as all dogs do get sick. If you can't afford to vet them, you don't need to get a dog until you can afford them.
Rules and Regulations
I have VERY strict legally binding reclaimation statements so don't attempt to adopt from me if you don't want them enforced.
1. If the animal is not already spayed/neutered, the adopter will sign an agreement that states that they will have the animal being adopted spayed/neutered by noon within 90 days of the date of adoption. This pertains to puppies only under 5 months old. All adults will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
2. The adopter agrees that in the event that the newly adopted animal will not be taken to a local pound or rehomed by them other than being returned to April and Ben Craft, the owner/operators of Kuntry Kids Furbaby Rescue.
3. The animals being adopted will come with UTD shot records, be dewormed and on heartworm preventative unless so stated in the listing. (if under 2lbs, the animal can't be on heartguard)
4. My animals will be fed top quality food IE Science Diet and Iams and the new adopters agree to either keep the animal on his/her original food or at the least work in the new food with their previous food slowly as not to create severe stomach upset.
5. All adopters will submit a vet reference, two to three personal references and submit to a pre-adoption in home visit and periodic unscheduled home visits thereafter to ensure the welfare of the adopted animals.
6. All adopters must provide proof of home ownership or a landlords information so that it can be verified that pets are allowed.
7. All adopters will provide info on all animals that have been in and out of their home in the past 5 years.
8. All adopters will agree to a reclaimation agreement that states if a follow up home visit is preformed and not passed after adoption or if proof of vaccinations and/or spay neuter aren't provided within their allowed time, that the animal will be returned back to the rescue with no hinderance to Kuntry Kids Furbaby Rescue.
9. All adopters will sign an agreement that any animal adopted will not be tied on a chain outside or put in an outdoor pen for extended periods of time, but that they will have their own fenced yard or be taken on daily walks for excersize as needed.
10. All adopters agree to periodic picture emails and updates to be sent to the rescue.
11. All adopters agree to a non-refundable 30 trial with any animal adopted from Kuntry Kids and if the animal doesn't work out, agrees to surrender the animal back to the rescue without hinderance and without legal assistance.
12. All adopters will realize that we at Kuntry Kids Furbaby Rescue do our best to temperment test and potty train, but will not hold the rescue liable for any mishaps of behavior after adoption and will give the animal ample time to adapt or return such animal back to the rescue.
13. Adopters will promise to love, honor and take care of any animal adopted in every way needed and if such time arises that they can not do so, they will surrender the animal back to rescue with no problems.
14. Adopters can not breed any animal from this rescue as they will either be spayed/neutered ahead of adoption or have a 90 day time period to have this done and such agreement will be signed. This is subject to the dogs age at the time of adoption. If he/she is 3 months, you will have 60 days to spay/neuter. If he/she is 4 months you will have 30 days to spay/neuter. If he or she is 5 months or more he/she will already be spayed/neutered and you can either pick up from me if it has already been done or from my vet the day after the spay/neuter has been done.
15. Proof of home ownership or landlords name, number and address will be checked thoroughly before proceeding. I don't adopt out to very many renters. Sorry. I don't want my babies ending up in a pound just because you "move and can not take the dog".
