Who We Are
Mobile County Animal Shelter is responsible for the confiscation / impound of stray animals in the unincorporated areas of the county. Working in conjunction with humane officers, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and rabies inspectors, the Animal Shelter impounds homeless and diseased animals. We work very hard to find placement for as many animals as possible with the help of the public through adoptions.
Adopting a friend
Adoption costs are $80 for dogs or puppies and $70 for cats or kittens.
Every animal adopted from our shelter will be spayed or neutered before the animal is placed in it's new home.
