We hold seimiannual book sales and pet adoptions two Saturdays in May and again in October at the Old Cotton Warehouse in Roanoke, AL on Main Street (Hwy 22). Who We Are
Randolph County Animal Shelter is located in Wedowee, AL.
We are housing multiple dogs and cats in an effort to find them loving forever homes. Small adoption fees apply to cover the cost of de-worming, flea treatment and professional staffing which includes a Certified Vet Tech. Dogs are $50.00 and cats are $40.00. Also, we require the purchase of a spay/neuter voucher ($42.00 for the dog/puppy voucher and $32.00 for the cat/kitten voucher) that can be used at Twin Creeks Animal Hospital in Ashland, AL. These vouchers are good for $42.00 off the spay/neuter of a puppy/dog and $32.00 off of the spay/neuter of a kitten/cat! State law requires you to have your adopted animal spayed/neutered within a certain time limit depending on the age of the animal.
Adopting a friend
RCAS requires you to visit the shelter in person to adopt. You must be 18 years of age or older. We have an application to be completed, and if approved, you can take your new pet home the same day. We accept check or cash (NO debit/credit cards). We do approve out of state adoptions.
