Welcome to Sweet Home Al Peke Rescue
We offer a lifetime commitment to our Pekingese, and try to find great forever homes for these little castaways. One person's castaway is another person's treasure and we have proved that alot lately.
We rescue from kill shelters and only if the pekingese is on time limitations and going to be put down or gassed to death.
We are desperate for fosters and volunteers. We are a 501c3, all volunteer group and have been helping pekes and castaways for 5 years.

We are a national group and help our pekingese anywhere they are in need.
Please contact Pauline for an application. We require a vet reference and sometimes a home visit and like to keep our rescues close to home.
Without support from peke lovers we could not save pekes.
Please make shelter life or owner surrender your last resort for your pekes.

Petco in Birmingham, Al will let Peke Rescue hold adoptions there.
We are very grateful for the PetCo help. We will announce when our first day there will be. If anyone would like to meet a special baby, or just want to say hi, tthat would be great.
