THE MAIN GOAL OF OUR SHELTER IS TO RESCUE AS MANY ANIMALS AS POSSIBLE FROM THE LOCAL MUNICIPAL KILL FACILITY. We do our best to give them every chance for being adopted into loving and safe homes. We do not assign specific time limits on animals that are taken in by our shelter. We do the best we can for as many as we can and for as long as we can. Please contact us by email and also leave a message on the answering machine. WE DO NOT HAVE AN OFFICE RECEPTIONIST. We check the answering machine as often as possible. Please keep in mind that our shelter is staffed by volunteers. We do our best to respond in a timely manner. All calls are answered in the order they are received. Donations and volunteers are always welcome. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering or making a donation.

Call or email us for an application!!

OUT OF STATE APPLICATIONS ARE WELCOME!

Adoption fee is only $125.00 for dogs and $75.00 for cats. This includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations up-to-date, & deworming, feline leukemia or heartworm testing, & heartworm treatment if test is positive. We offer a "return-at-any-time" policy for all pets. Alabama State Law mandates that all shelter animals must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption if they are six months of age or older. Adopted puppies and kittens will be scheduled for surgery upon reaching six months of age. Adopters will be given a Certificate of Spay/Neuter to be taken to our participating vets. For animals adopted out of our area, we will reimburse the surgery fee at a rate limited to the adoption fee of the animal. ANIMALS UNDER SIX MONTHS OF AGE WILL NOT BE RELEASED FOR AIR TRANSPORT.
