On average, our adoption fees are $140 for pups 4 months and under, adult dogs are $120, and small breed dogs are $200 (CASH ONLY). These fees cover the cost of spaying, neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and care for our rescued dogs and puppies.
Who We Are
Alaska Dog & Puppy Rescue is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization formed for the purpose of rescuing homeless dogs and puppies. We rescue from Mat-Su Animal Care and Regulations Shelter and Houston Animal Control every week as well as from the community. Our rescued dogs and puppies are spayed, neutered, microchipped, and current on shots. They are placed in foster care where they are evaluated, loved, and kept safe until they are ready to be adopted to loving and permanent families.
Adopting a Friend
We have 3 adoption clinics every Saturday. One in Anchorage at Petco on Dimond and Seward Highway, another in Anchorage at Petco off the Glenn Highway in Mt. View, and one in Palmer/Wasilla at 2031 N Terrace Ct off Parks Hwy and Trunk Rd. The clinics are from 11am to 4pm. Come meet your new best friend or sign up to help local dogs!
