On July 7th, our 1 year anniversary, we have adopted out 280 dogs!
Who We Are
Pawsitive Match Rescue has been in town for a year! We are a non-profit organization based out of Calgary, Alberta, who is dedicated to saving dogs and matching them with the right families, creating a “pawsitive match”.
We rescue dogs from wherever there is a need, and we have had dogs in our program from Calgary, the surrounding reserves, the Arctic, the Northwestern United States, the South Central United States, as well as Mexico!
We are not affiliated with any other rescue organizations; however we work co-operatively with other organizations to be more productive in saving lives.

Adopting a friend
Our application screening process is thorough, although we pride ourselves on processing applications quickly and efficiently. The process begins with the applicant filling out a questionnaire, followed by a telephone interview, reference and veterinarian checks and a visit to the applicant’s home. Our adoption fees range from $300 to $425 depending on vet care and transport costs. These funds are used towards saving more lives. Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, receive flea and tick treatment, tested for parasites common to their region, and all other health issues are addressed. prior to adoption. Please note that our dogs are not adopted out on a “first come first served” basis - we look for the best possible “pawsitive match”.
