"JHETTSU" JHETTSU HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME!
is a 10-11 year old Mixed breed, neutered male. He came to us through the animal control division of Misty Creek. His owner would not pay the fines to get him back after he was found running at large and enjoying everyone's garbage. We were told they didn't want him back - a prime example of poor pet ownership responsibility. He is just a nice, big friendly dog. He is on a diet and exercise program right now to try to shed some unwanted pounds (his New Year's resolution.) We are sure he misses being in his family's home and would love another home to call his own for the rest of the years he has left.

We are in desperate need of some volunteers! If anyone could spare a little time we would be forever grateful for the help. Foster homes needed in the Calgary area, please contact us for more information if you can help. People to hang posters, do some driving....there is lots you can do to help. Come and walk a dog at the shelter or offer to pick up donations! Even little things matter.

Misty Creek is a not-for-profit, no-kill dog shelter. Our goal is to save as many dogs as we can that are unwanted or facing euthanasia. All dogs deserve a second chance and we are here to help that happen. We rehabilitate and then place them up for adoption to loving new homes. Our dogs come from Animal Control, SPCA's, owner surrenders, Southern Reserves and other shelters across North America
