Since July of 2004, when HART jumped "paws first" into action, we have rescued 88 dogs and cats.
Who We Are
The Humane Animal Rescue Team (HART) is committed to rescue stray, abandoned, and unwanted dogs and cats from rural areas including First Nations surrounding Edmonton, Alberta, to place them in permanent homes, and to provide programs that promote responsible
pet ownership, and prevent cruelty to animals.
Adopting a friend
HART relies on a volunteer network to foster our rescued animals until permanent homes are found. Adoptive homes go through a screening process to ensure that an animal's needs and personality match the lifestyles and expectations of the adopters.
