We currently have a lot of black cats – teenaged cats, adult cats, even kittens! Sheri our cat coordinator has declared November Adopt a Black Cat Month in hopes of raising awareness. Every black cat adopted this month will have a discounted adoption fee and a free gift for their pet.

Our Mission

Four Paws Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs and cats. Four Paws has been rescuing dogs and cats since 2000. We rescue stray and abandoned cats, dogs, puppies and kittens from high-kill shelters, place them in caring foster homes (if available) and then adopt them into loving, life-long homes. We have placed over 3,500 companion animnals in to loving homes, while enriching the lives of their adoptive families.

Our Dogma

The reason dogs and cats have to be rescued in the first place is that there are too many of them and not enough homes! We believe that the best way to attack the overpopulation problem is to attack the root of the problem - prevent more dogs and cats from being born. Every pet that Four Paws rescues is spayed or neutered before being placed in his/her adoptive home. We strive to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering.
