Note: Petfinder lists all of the homeless pets based on a dominant breed. Within that breed category, many of the pets may be mixed breeds. When you click to see the full information about each pet (in our Pet Notes page) you'll see a "mix" after the breed if the volunteer/staff who posted the breed felt it was a mix. If you are specifically looking for a pure breed, please glance at all the pets in that breed category, since many pure breed pets are mistaken for mixed in shelters.
