When is the Sweepstakes?
The Sweepstakes begins on January 1, 2008, and ends on June 30, 2008, and consists of six entry periods, one for each month the Sweepstakes is open. Entry periods begin at 12:01 AM Eastern Time on the first day of the month and end at 11:59 PM ET on the last day of the month during the Promotion Period.Who can enter?
Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older, are employed by or volunteer for an animal shelter or animal rescue organization that is a member of Petfinder.com and have Internet access as of December 31, 2007, are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. NOTE THAT THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Also note that entrants are entering on behalf of their animal shelter or animal rescue organization. Prizes will be awarded to the animal shelter or animal rescue organization, not to the entrant.How do I enter?
Visit petfinder.com/petrescue to access the Sweepstakes entry page. Complete and submit the online entry form. Completed entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on the last day of the month, to be included in that month’s random drawing. You must enter during each month to be considered in each random drawing, as entries from one month do not carry over to subsequent months, nor will they be included in any subsequent random drawings.How often may I enter?
There is a limit of one entry per person/email address per day.What are the prizes?
Each drawing will award one prize: a $5,000 donation made to the animal shelter or animal rescue organization named on the winner’s entry form (subject to the approval of Sponsor which may be withheld for any reason).When and how will the winners be selected?
Winners will be selected via random drawing. A random drawing will be conducted for each month of the Promotion Period on or about the 3rd day of the month following the end of an entry period, the first being on February 3, 2008, and last on July 3, 2008.How will I know if I’ve won?
Winning animal shelters and animal rescue organizations (and entrants who submitted winning entries) will be contacted by mail after the random drawing. If you’d like to know who won, just mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by July 31, 2008, to: Petfinder “To The Rescue” Sweepstakes Winner List, PMI Station, PO Box 750, Southbury, CT 06488-0750.What are my chances of winning?
Your chances of winning a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received for each drawing.By entering the Sweepstakes will I automatically win something?
