My name is Armstrong. I am prolly 4 years old, and from the best guess of these folks, a retriever mix. I weigh 60 lbs and am super, super handsome.
I’m easy. I’m laid back, I’m potty trained, and I have excellent manners. I love going for rides too! (caution- may steal car, hide keys) heehee just kidding
You see…I was “home.” My human mom had to abandon everything and move out of state. She has to care for her deathly ill sister. I couldn’t go with her, and had no other place to go. She still hasn’t come back for me.
I’m healthy, I’m mostly happy- and all that gibberish about shots, tootering, and heart worm stuff has been done. I don’t have no stinking heart worms, and I don’t have my manly jewels either!
What I do have is a life to live (outside of a shelter, please)
Sunny Meadows...Safe Haven for Pets is a 501 c 3 non profit organization.
All donations are tax deductible.

Each Saturday & Sunday from 1-4 pm
Where: 4066 New Getwell Road
(Located @ the corner of Getwell and Raines, 3.5 miles south of I-240 and Getwell Road)
Monday through Friday hours are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Application for Adoption required for approval.
Dog Adoption fee $150.00
Cat Adoption fee $100
On average we spend well over our adoption fee for each pet in our care. All pets adopted from Sunny Meadows will be vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested appropriately and verified negative (i.e. heartworm test or FIV/FeLV combo test) The adoption fee goes towards a mere portion of our expenses incurred. Many of our rescues arrive to us in critical need of costly medical procedures; heart worm treatment, orthopedic surgery, and ophthalmologic surgery- just to name a few. Many rescued pets need behavior modification, and socialization skills. We go to great lengths to ensure the health, and well being of each of our pets.
