Gretel has had it pretty tough. Her mom and dad were killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in August. There were 3 children 2 dogs and a cat, Gretel, left behind. The family suffered further loss, with the grandfather dying right after and grandmother diagnosed with cancer that required a double mastectomy. The children went to different family homes, as well as one dog. The 2nd dog went back to the no-kill shelter he came from, and Gretel was left in the home, for 4 months with family and neighbors feeding her. Gretel is ten years young, polydactyle, grey tabby with white face, belly and paws, has one eye. Gretel tested positive for FIV. Neg FeLV. She weighs 10 pounds, and has pink gums and white teeth. She is sweet sweet sweet. Gretel is dog friendly, and great with people, young and old. FIV+ cats can live for many years. FIV is not transmittable to dogs or people.
