Domestic Long Hair, Norwegian Forest Cat [Mix]

Fatima is a beautiful 9 year old Norwegian Forest Cat mix who has had a tough life. She was surrendered by her previous family when they moved away, then was diagnosed with Uveal melanoma (cancer of the eye) soon after arriving at CAT. Fatima underwent laser surgery, which was successful. Sadly, after recovering from surgery, Fatima was diagnosed with glaucoma (an optic nerve disease which creates a high amount of pressure in the eye). To help with her glaucoma, Fatima requires eye drops twice a day, which she takes like a champ.

Fatima's sight in her right eye is still a bit fuzzy, therefore, she tends to be a bit cautious when being approached. She is a bit shy but a very affectionate older gal who enjoys having her chin scratched, neck massaged, as well as luxurious petting sessions. She gets along very well with other cats, and is also good with children.
