Cocker Spaniel

Checkers is a 3 year old purebred black cocker spaniel with a white chest. He is a very loving little boy, gets along with other dogs and cats -- but no kids. He likes children and does well with them in small doses -- but can tire of their antics. So if you have grandchildren that visit, he would be fine but if you have young children, Checkers is probably not for you. He doesn't bite, but can be nippy once he gets tired of kids rough- housing with him. He wants a gentle hand and will instantly roll over for his belly rubs Checkers knows several commands, sits and shakes for a treat, lays down, and is outstanding on a leash. There is nothing he likes better than his walks. So you must be a walker to adopt Checkers -- or have a fenced yard for him to run and play in. Checkers if fully house trained, up to date on his shots, neutered, comes with his personalized bed and crate.
