Domestic Short Hair-black and white

This little cat has a very special story and needs a very loving and stable home. He came to us when he was just a few weeks old, covered in oil and gas...with burned feet, and a heart full of fear. With his doubting foster mother he grew and although still shy and quiet, was a happy little boy. Because of his sweet nature, he was soon adopted to a family. Suddenly he began to limp, after x-rays and tests, it was discovered that he indeed had a broken hip, probably from an injury when he was a small baby. This was operated on, and he began to mend. Suddenly, for some reason, he became very unhappy and injured his tail to the point where the vet felt it advisable to "bob" it. His family no longer wanted him, and he was returned to his foster mother. Lionel needs a family where he is the only cat. Other animals seem to frighten him. He needs to be an indoor cat. He needs understanding and lots of love. This dear little fellow has had a tough start to life. He is happy now, but he needs a forever home. Are you the special family that Lionel needs?
