Poor Nellie has been in foster care for over a year now. She was orginally rescued off the streets of Philadelphia where she was skin & bones and starving to death. She has since been living in foster care with the founder of SWRO. But sadly, everyone wants kittens and no one is giving Nellie a chance to show her purrsonality. Nellie is so sweet! She will jump on your lap and purr and knead until you fall asleep;-) She is very affectionate. Nellie co-exists with another adult cat and they are fine together. They each do their own thing. Neither are aggressive. Nellie would be happiest being the only cat or maybe just one other non-aggressive cat. Nellie was a little nervous around a dog, but if introduced properly she would do fine. As you can see from the photos, Nellie has pretty much filled out. She loves to eat and is not much into exercise. She is looking for a forever home that she can call her own. Is that home yours?
