BJ is a beautiful girl who is looking for her forever home. She is a very loving dog, but does have some special needs. BJ has retinal dysplasia and cataracts in both of her eyes. In normal daylight and bright rooms, she is able to see well, but has a hard time seeing at night and in dark places. That doesn't stop her from being a great dog though, she gets around just fine. BJ is a real sweetie! She is currently improving her basic obedience and learning how to cope with her vision problems. BJ has recently seen an ophthalmologist, and her cataracts has improved in one eye, and become a little worse in the other. Surgery to remove BJ's cataracts is not an option, due to the origin of her condition. BJ was severely malnourished, when she was a very small puppy, which led to this eye condition. BJ is starting some eye drops, that if effective, she may be on for the rest of her life, along with visits to the ophthalmologist, twice yearly.
