More About NANA

08/04/07: What a beautiful and sweet girl!! Oh my goodness. We got Nana from the humane society after a soldier who had to go overseas was no longer able to keep her. She is already working on her obedience skills and we have been told she is housebroken as well. She is a large girl already and will continue to grow up to 120 pounds.

She is what is called a Landseer, which is a type of Newfoundland. Currently she is 6 months old and weighs approximately 65 pounds. She is unusual in that she is white with black markings and we have her AKC paperwork veryifying she is fullblooded. She does well with other dogs, and seems to enjoy kitties as well. She also is eager to please!

We are only considering homes with enough room for this girl to grow and exercise. Fenced in yards will only be considered for her adoption.

She will be spayed, micrcochipped, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on preventative heartworm meds. Pictures will be posted soon!

ADOPTION FEE WILL BE $350.

WE ALSO REQUIRE ONGOING PROPER VETERINARY CARE FOR ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED TO INCLUDE HEARTWORM MEDICATIONS, FLEA MEDICATIONS, AND YEARLY VACCINATIONS. PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO KIM FOR AN APPLICATION AT LOVEMELOVEMYDOGS2004@INDY.RR.COM

Adoption donation averages $200-300 for adults and pups older than 6 months This is due to the rising costs of veterinary care, gasoline prices, and boarding fees which are paid for out of our own pockets. As we are not funded by anyone - adoption donations help to offset only a part of our cost of getting the dog ready for adoption. All dogs > 6months are vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, wormed and have a goody starter bag. Puppies < 6 months will have at least 2 puppy vaccinations, microchipped, wormed, and goody starter bag with an average fee of $200-250. If age appropriate, will potentially also be spayed/neutered and have rabies vaccination also with an average fee of $250-300. is years old and is a dog. is up to date on shots, heartworm checked and on preventative heartworm meds, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

We require all pets get proper ongoing veterinary care to include annual exams, vaccinations, and monthly flea and heartworm preventative meds.

Please contact Kim at lovemelovemydogs2004@indy.rr.com for an application. Gracie's HEART of Gold reserves the right to refuse any adoption.

NANA is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
