More About Pookie

Pookie was turned in by a retired lady who's son adopted one of our dogs 2 years ago. Pookie was on Neely's Bend Road and almost hit by several cars. The lady tried to find the owners and put up flyers with no response while caring for him a month. So they asked for my help, I told them I would try to find a home for Pookie - he looks about 4-6 months old - he is about 20-25 pounds - he is like a big stuffed toy - he should grow up to be a Medium size dog by the size of his paws around 35-40 pounds - perfect size for an inside dog - he has soft curly long black hair and you can't see his eyes due to so much hair over his face, but he runs around like he doesn't have a problem - he is all black with 4 white boots on his feet and a star on his chest - this type of dog will require continued grooming and combing, so only those with previous experience with this type of dog will be considered - he is still a puppy with great manors and very curious and playful - if your interested in adopting Pookie - we ask that you be a home owner with a secure fenced in back yard. LIVE WITHIN A 25 MILE RADIUS of this Rescue. We also require a home check before approving the adoption - send us an email and let us know what sort of forever home you have to offer Pookie and brag about how you care for your pets, that's always a good selling point when considering an adoption for one of our dogs.

September 2,07 - Wonderful news, Pookie got adopted today to a wonderful home on 5 acres with 2 of those acres fenced in with a beautiful home for him to be spoiled rotten. They are big fans of NASCAR and also doing day trips on their boat out on the lake and Pookie will get to go every place they go - so I know Pookie will have the life of Riley. BOOGITY, BOOGITY, BOOGITY!!!

Pookie is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
