More About Lily
For more information about this Saint and the others, please follow this link to the main page for NC SAINT BERNARD RESCUE. You will find a link there for our online application. Thank you!
Miss Lily was picked up as a stray and placed into a shelter in rural Georgia. Where NCSBR found her and brought her into our rescue.
She has been treated for multiple parasites the worst of which is heartworm disease. She started her treatments for this totally preventable infestation of heartworms and because of her weakened condition she will need your prayers and kind thoughts to help pull her through.
She has successfully received the necessary treatments for the four other parasites that are were literately sucking the life out of this sweet girl. She is on a special diet, and several medications.
Lily gained over 25 pounds since entering rescue and physically started the difficult task of ridding her of the heartworms.
Eventually Lily will be looking for that elusive forever home - a place of her very own. For now, Lily is enjoying her new found friends here at NCSBR. Maybe you can find it in your heart to give this sweet lady the things she needs most of all... a real home.
Her heart will have plenty of room for love, does yours?
More updated information about Lily is always available on her NCSBR's Urgent Needs page.
