More About Pam

To adopt one of our wonder full dogs please complete an application (either go to bullypaws.org or click on link below), a home visit will also be required. Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $175-200. Puppies are $350 and shelter dogs are $125.

This dog is located in a foster home in Fredericksburg VA :

HISTORY: Pam was surrendered by her owner because they didnt get permission from their landlord to have a dog. Which is unfortunately one of the most common reason dogs are surrendered. Although it was not her fault she sat in the shelter for several months waiting for someone to come and adopt her- as the shelter started to fill up they called Bully Paws and we agreed to take her into our rescue program- she is one of the best trained dogs- it is apparent that her previous owners put a lot of effort into her training and manners

MEDICAL: She is 3 years old, about 40 pounds and is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped she has no known medical issues at this time

WITH OTHER ANIMALS: She gets along with all the other dogs here male and female, she has not been tested with cats- but I would guess she would be ok.

WITH PEOPLE: Very friendly- she always greets someone at the door with something in her mouth- a toy, a blanket, whatever she can find.

AT THE VET: She did very well, she will get nervous when she is cornered

IN THE CAR: She rides very well and just sits down or looks out the window

GROOMING, BATHING, ETC: She does great with all of these things- she is very tolerant

WITH FOOD AND TREATS: She doesnt like other dogs coming around her while she is eating- so if an adopter had other dogs she would need to be fed in a crate or in a separate room- She has not shown any food aggression with people however small children who might be crawling on the floor while she was eating should also be avoided be feeding her separate and then picking up the bowl when she was finished

TOYS, PLAY, & EXERCISE: She has a fairly low energy level she spends her entire day loose in our house and is not destructive at all- she mostly sleeps on the couch. However when some of the more playful dogs come up for house time- she will wrestle and play with them as well

IN THE HOUSE As I said before she does great- She would be a great dog for anyone
