HANDSOME COTTON!
Cotton is a Domestic Short Hair mix. He was born approximately May 14, 2007, making him eleven months old. He currently weighs 8lbs 10oz and we estimate he'll grow to be 10-14lbs. Cotton has the bright blue eyes and pointed markings of a Siamese. However, his round head and solid, compact build are not that of a Siamese. Cotton is white with flame (red) tabby/linx points and has a pink nose.

COTTON'S PAST!
Cotton was only a couple of days old, if that, when someone brought him into an emergency clinic. They found him all alone with no Mom or littermates in sight. We had just picked up two kittens, about the same age, from another clinic where we learned about Cotton. Nobody had volunteered to hand rear him so he was slated for euthanasia. We knew that once he was of age, it wouldn't take long for him to find a great home. March 30, 2008 Update: Cotton was adopted on January 5, 2008 and returned on March 30, 2008. His adopter reported that in the time he was in their care, he was very skittish. Although he played with his toys and allowed them to pet him, he did not allow them to pick him up. He reacted to sudden movements and loud noises by hiding.

MORE ABOUT COTTON!
Since Cotton was hand reared from a newborn kitten, he is very friendly and affectionate with the people, dogs, and other cats he was raised with. He likes to climb his kitty condo, chase his toys, and sunbathe in the window. His foster Mom bathes him and trims his nails on regular basis, which he tolerates well. He is litter box trained and kept indoors only.

COTTON'S MEDICAL HISTORY!
A minimum donation of $75.00 will be required for Cotton's adoption to help us cover the following:
  • Veterinary examinations.
  • Fecal check.
  • Treatment for intestinal parasites.
  • Feline leukemia and feline aids tests (negative).
  • First, second, and third kitten booster vaccinations.
  • Rabies vaccination.
  • Microchip.
  • Neuter surgery (12/7/07).
  • Heartworm, flea, and tick preventive while in our care.

    COME MEET COTTON!
Nearly every weekend we hold a scheduled meet and greet event at an Austin, TX area Pet Co. Details for each event are posted on our homepage as well as a list of which pets will be attending the particular event. All of our pets are fostered in homes, we do not have a shelter facility. However, we are often able to schedule private meet and greets at the availabilty of the foster family. To do so, please send us an E-mail or call telling us a little about your pet history, family, and why you think the specific pet may be a good match.
