More About SATURDAY
MY NAME IS SATURDAY and I am a THOUSAND DOLLAR PLUS CAT!
I was rescued by S.P.A. after I was found, unable to walk.
Bone was exposed through the end of my tail where it had been torn off and had become infested with maggots. A bott fly larvae was embedded in a sore on my injured, front leg. I also suffered from contusions on various parts of his body and head. X-rays were taken revealing a severe break in my front left leg.
The doctors at Fremont Animal Hospital recommended that I be taken to Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine as the injuries to my leg, shoulder and foot were quite extensive.
Orthopedic specialists at Ohio State University determined that I needed to have bones repaired in two areas. "The hairline break in his shoulder would heal on its own," they said. Surgery at OHIO STATE VETERINARY HOSPITAL cost well over $1,000 to repair broken bones in my leg and paw. S.P.A. thought I was definitely worth saving.
While I was recovering at the hospital one of the Doctors there fell in love with me. She took me home and fell in love with my charming personality. All except for the fact that I keep beating up on her other cat, who was there before I came along. You see, I just don't like any competition when it comes to getting cuddles from my human. She said she is happy to keep me until a perfect home is found where I can be someone's one and only. As tough as it is for her to give me up, she said her other cat and I will both be happier. She said it will make her very sad when I find a new home, but that it is too hard on her other cat always having me beat the pee pee out of him.
With people, I am a charming, loving head-butting kind of guy. I am a purring sweetheart... but I MUST be an only cat. I am fully healed from my injuries, too. Most of my tail was amputated, and now has a very unique, distinctive look.
Oh yeah, and she thinks I am VERY intelligent, and she should know!
I use my litter box, love to be petted, and love to sit on your lap, when you want me to that is.
Your search has ended. I am just the cat you have been looking for!
Please let SPA know if you'd like to adopt me by first filling out an online application. You have to be "qualified" you know. I am too good to go to "just anybody."
