More About Friday

Please contact Margaret (MAJARR2000@aol.com) for more information about this pet.

9/1/09 Here are some new pictures of me. The fur has grown over the surgery site on my leg, and I've mellowed quite a bit. I now like attention. Please meet me in Feather's Suite next time you visit.

2/2/09 I added a picture of volunteer Beth holding me (she LOVES me) so you can see how cuddly I can be with the right person.

12/15/08 Don't forget to ask to visit Feather's Suite and meet us kitties in that room.

9/1/08 I'm in 'Feather's Suite' which is kinda hard to find. You have to ask for it. Come and visit us in the Suite.

5/12/08 I've settled into the green room at the new shelter and I'm doing fine. Please come visit.

12/1/07 I'm walking around the shelter and doing well. I can be grumpy at times but I'm soon over it. Please come meet pretty me.

11/3/07 I am waiting for someone special to come and adopt me. It is crowded here, so please come soon!

8/8/07 Thank you to some humans who gave a donation to sponsor me. Many meows!

8/6/07 I am the original lame leg kitty, but there are now two of us here! My goodness, what is that all about? Anyway, I am back at the shelter (from the hospital) and have finished my post-surgery antibiotics. I am just awaiting a final visit to the vet so I can be approved for adoption. I am getting around very well on only three legs. And of course, I am still gorgeous! Where is my Special Someone?

7/16/07 After three attempts to fix my leg surgically, it looks like I may lose it. Boo. But if that means I will be pain-free then I'll be happy! I know I'll adjust well and there is someone out there to love me anyway! These folks could use some help with my very expensive vet bills!

5/30/07 I had to have a second knee surgery to remove some scar tissue that was making the ligaments slip back out of place. Now I'm going to stay quiet for a month so it can all heal. Please come visit with me as I get lonesome!

Diary 4/7/07 I am not so inclined to bite now that I am feeling better, after that surgery! They tried to take some pictures of my pretty side (the other side was shaved for surgery). Come meet me, please?

Diary 4/3/07 I had my surgery and it went well. I am recovering now and sure hope I feel all better soon. Could you come and get to know me? Pictures don't do me justice!

Diary 2/24/07: I arrived a couple weeks ago in a trap! I was hungry, skinny and hurting. I've been to the vet who took x-rays and observed me. She thinks I have an old knee injury that didn't heal well. I know if you touch me in that area I might bite! I have to wait awhile to see how things go with the leg. But I may need surgery for a 'luxating patella' (messed up kneecap, in other words). I am enjoying unlimited food and clean water, and pets from visitors and volunteers. You can't see in the pictures but I have pretty 'marble' markings on my side and a gorgeous tail!
