More About GRACIE

1/19/07:GRACIE IS AN ADORABLE SCHNOODLE- LOOKING GIRL. SHE IS ESTIMATED TO BE APPROXIMATELY 3 YEARS OLD. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CONSTANT COMPANION AND TOTAL LAP DOG, GRACIE IS YOUR GIRL! SHE LOVES TO BE ON YOUR LAP!

SHE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, BUT DOES NEED TO BE GROOMED. WE WILL BE GETTING HER GROOMED SOON! SHE IS TOTALLY CUDDLY AS WELL!! SHE WEIGHS 13 POUNDS AND HAS BEEN SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, UP TO DATE ON ALL SHOTS. SHE WAS ALSO HEARTWORM CHECKED AND IS POSITIVE, SO SHE WILL BE GETTING TREATED VERY SOON. THEREFORE SHE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION UNTIL SHE HAS COMPLETED HER HEARTWORM TREATMENT. MOST LIKELY SHE WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER 3/1/07.

SHE DOES WELL AROUND OTHER DOGS AND LOVES TO BE CUDDLED. SHE IS A TOTAL LOVEBUG. BARELY MOVES OFF OF YOUR LAP!! SHE HAS NO AGGRESSION TOWARD CATS AND SO FAR HAS HAD CHILDREN WANTING TO PET HER AND IS VERY SWEET THEN AS WELL. EVERYONE WHO MEETS HER FALLS IN LOVE WITH HER!

THERE IS LITTLE KNOWN ABOUT HER BACKGROUND SINCE SHE WAS DROPPED OFF AFTER HOURS AT THE LOCAL SHELTER. HER ADOPTION FEE WILL BE $250 TO HELP COVER ALL OF HER VETERINARY COSTS.

WE ALSO REQUIRE PROPER VETERINARY CARE FOR ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED TO INCLUDE HEARTWORM MEDICATIONS, FLEA MEDICATIONS, AND YEARLY VACCINATIONS. PLEASE DO NOT CALL , PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO KIM FOR AN APPLICATION AT LOVEMELOVEMYDOGS2004@INDY.RR.COM

Adoption donation averages $200-300 for adults and pups older than 6 months (tiny puppies slightly more). This is due to the rising costs of veterinary care, gasoline prices, and boarding fees which are paid for out of our own pockets. As we are not funded by anyone - adoption donations help to offset only a part of our cost of getting the dog ready for adoption. All dogs > 6months are vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, wormed and have a goody starter bag. Puppies < 6 months will have at least 2 puppy vaccinations, microchipped, wormed, and goody starter bag with an average fee of $200-250. If age appropriate, will potentially also be spayed/neutered and have rabies vaccination also with an average fee of $250-300.

GRACIE is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
