Rocky is your typical bully boy! He may be a pit mix, but he exudes some of the best qualities of the pit bull: loyal, affectionate, friendly and playful. His attitude is confidant, yet sweet, and he loves to please. He follows his foster mom around like a true 'puppy dog'. Although he is rowdy and will benefit from further obedience training, he is filled will love and will settle in for cuddles at any time, day or night! Rocky is also good with other dogs, playing with his foster siblings until he tires out and dreams about how lucky he was escaping the shelter. Rocky was an owner surrender brought into the local shelter. His owners could not keep him anymore and instead of looking for a suitable home for him, the brought him to the shelter that does NOT adopt out pit bulls. All pit bulls are euthanized if a rescue like ours cannot take them. We were full, but something told us that Rocky was special so we took him into our program. Rocky is neutered, up to date on his shots, microchipped and all ready for his new home! Check back for new pictures as he grows or email us for more information about this cutie!
