More About Alex

Alex was a 10 week old kitten when brought into a pet store and the staff was told that, if they did not accept him, he would e dropped off in a field. He had originally been purchased at a flea market but the purchasrs soon tired of him. The pet store, Critter Jungle, took him in and called Cat Rescue Network. The little kitten was suffering from ear mites, fleas, and worms. He was taken to a vet, bathed several times and had his ears cleaned about 3 times. Evey time large nmbers of mites were removed. He was put on antibiotics, for an ear infection, and kept overnight at the vet clinic. Wrapped in warm blankets and free of biting, itching parasites, the little kitten fell asleep. The next morning a playful, happy, inquisitive little kitten greeted the staff. Alex was taken back to the petstore, where he took up residence, with other cats, in a large play structure the store had on display. Less that a week later a couple came into the store and immediately were drawn to Alex. They called Cat Rescue Network several times within an hour of seeing him. Alex was adopted into a loving home, with many stairs to play on and many windows to sun himself. His grandfather is a veterinarian so all of his needs will be taken care of. The little pauper had become a prince. This is what one of the adopters wrote on the morning after the adoption: Good morning, Just wanted to say thank you once again for filling our home with such love. It seems almost impossible to fall in love with someone so quickly but we did! We had a very enjoyable evening. We brought everything into our bedroom for him so that he could sleep in a room with us. We have to say that we are spoiling him a little....he slept in our leather chair wrapped in a chenille blanket. We also gave him breakfast in bed!! Here is the first of many pics of him wrapped in our...oops..his chair. We are going to critter jungle to purchase all of his necessities today...and to brag! Thanks again

Alex is up-to-date with routine shots and house trained.
