More About Barn Cats

We have several barn cats available for adoption. There is no adoption fee but the barn home must be approved and the caretakers must agree to care for the cat as a pet even though it may not act like one initially , or perhaps ever. These cats are very shy but we believe all the cats have the potential to come around to a certain degree of socialabilty. They range from "you probably won't see them much" to "hanging around but don't try to touch them". A couple have progressed to the point of a quick touch. See Quin and Socks for 2 youngish barn cats.

We will bring the cat(s) to you and will set up a cage in your barn in the area that the cat would be expected to eat or sleep. The caretaker will care for the cat in the cage for a period of 2-3 weeks while he becomes accustomed to the sights & sounds and understands that he will be fed in his new home. All barn cats are spayed or neutered and vaccinated.

Barn Cats is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
