More About Giselle

Available through Ozark Haven www.petfinder.com/shelters/MO401.html MUST BE ADOPTED IN OR AROUND SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI We received a report of a puppy in trouble near a popular fishing area in the Ozarks. We went to the location to see what all was up. What we saw there broke our hearts. Down in a ditch lay a little puppy who was thrown from a truck with such fiercness that the impact had broken her leg. She lay in the ditch broken and starving. A lady had just caught a glimpse of her and investigated.........she called us for help. We instantly dispatched for help and moved that baby girl to safety. Thank You to Frieda for not turning away from her. Thank You to Sue for making the calls and coming to the scene and to Meghan, Ed and Alex for standing around in a really hot ditch patiently urging this darling baby to trust us to help. And to Jim for getting her in and staying late to set her leg and for being so positive about her chances for a bright future. Giselle will be fostering with Meghan. It came clear to us at the scene that those two had chemistry!! She has to remain still and work on healing and taking on calories for a few weeks. If you are interested in making Giselle part of your family please write in for an app, adoption fee will be $125.00. Watch for updates! The first pic is the grass ditch under which she lay in pain, starving and terrified. The last two are pics of her in the hospital. More pics will follow under Giselles cast..........we will be posting pics of her in her cast soon as she comes around a little bit more. She has had such an ordeal! Giselle is a special little girl indeed!! She will need spayed when she is old enough. Vet guesses she was born around mid May.
Home without children (< 5 yrs old)

Giselle is up-to-date with routine shots.
