More About Pearl

UPDATE - How about FREE vet care for your new kitties? A donor (who wishes to remain anonymous) will PAY FOR Opal and Pearl's routine veterinary care for 2 years after their adoption! This person cannot adopt Opal and Pearl, but has a vested interest in their well-being. The free vet care, (paid for by the donor), would include veterinary wellness exams and booster vaccines! Pearl and her sister Opal are listed as special needs only because they are 100% DEAF. They have no idea that they are "different" than any other cats. They were born deaf, as 60%-80% of pure white cats are. (The gene that is responsible for the lack of pigment in the fur is also responsible for causing deafness). Pearl and and Opal are both SPAYED, tested negative for kitty disease, were dewormed, and were given flea/tick/mite prevention treatments. They recently had a physical exam and are up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. Pearl MUST be adopted with her sister; they cannot be separated as they are extremely attached and reliant on one another. Both girls are VERY affectionate and outgoing. They are also both playful; they love to play with their toys together. They are also quite vocal, even though they cannot hear! Pearl and Opal are being fostered in East Hampton, CT. Anyone interested in adopting these two beauties MUST fill out an adoption application / inquiry. Thanks for your interest in rescue! Please send an email to: heidimsw@yahoo.com
