Pep-pep, as his foster mom calls him, is certainly full of that - Pep is his first, middle and last name. This cute little guy is about 15-1/2" tall at the shoulder, weighs just around 28# and is a bundle of energy. You can tell from the impish look on his face that it's all about fun for him. His potential for agility or other canine sport is over the top, given positive reinforcement training and loads of praise and encouragement. Pepper is a typical teenager - one minute he is begging for your approval, the next minute he's running circles around you, wanting his own way. He is a bit sensitive to loud voices and heavy-handed discipline, so he will need a calm, structured environment in which to do his best. An older, confident - yet not dominant - female dog as a companion, friend and mentor would be ideal for Pep. A bit fearful in strange situations, he could look to her for guidance and a sense of security while he learns the appropriate way to behave with new things. This little guy will steal your heart, that's a given. He needs some patience, time and loving attention to get through the teenage stuff, but the dog waiting on the other side of it is a real winner.
