More About Bert & Berta
8/26/09: Bert & Berta are litter mates and they would like to find a home together. Bert is a handsome brown tabby and his sister Berta is a pretty Tortoiseshell. They both have beautiful coats. They are 4 years old.
Bert & Berta came to us as kittens. Someone had found them in a dumpster. They were emaciated and sick. Bert was covered with abscesses and appeared to have been bitten by a dog. They were both scared and shy.
They have come a long ways since then. They are both very healthy and they love to play with toys. They get along extremely well with other cats. Bert's become quite friendly with people. Berta's still a bit bashful but she's very sweet.
We've posted more photos of them on Petfinder under each of their names.
Both have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia. They've been with us for a very long time and we'd like to find them a home where they can stay together.
