More About Berta
12/9/09: Berta is a pretty 4 year old Tortoiseshell with an absolutely beautiful coat. She has free roam of her cat room and she gets along very well with other cats. She likes to play with toys, especially when someone has a string or feather toy for her to chase.
Berta is a bit bashful with people until she gets to know you. Although she forgets that she's shy when you get out a feather toy for her to play with! She'd do best in a quiet home. She's been at our shelter for a very long time and having another cat or cats in the home would probably make her feel more comfortable and make her adjustment easier, too.
Berta came to us as a kitten. Someone had found her and her brother in a dumpster. Her brother has recently been adopted.
Berta has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia. Her bashfulness has kept her from finding a home, but she's a sweet kitty and we know she'd make a nice little companion for someone.
