Irish Wolfhound [Mix]

Precious is an Iris Wolfhound Mix - I say Mix when I don't have papers on a dog to be safe in discribing - but when you see her she is a beautiful Iris Wolfhound - she looks like the dog on My Three Sons - an old TV show from the 60's - she is very sweet and gentle and loves to be spoiled with treats - she has these big brown eyes that just make you want to give her big hugs - Precious has been a well treated dog but for unforeseen circumstances she had to be surrendered to this rescue - she is very well behaved, potty & crate trained - she is most happy just laying on the floor next to her master - if your a fan of this breed, you know they are gentle giants - she is a big dog (about 80lbs) but not as big as some of the Iris Wolfhound's I've seen but still the biggest dog we have here at the Rescue - as to age I assume she is around 2-3 years old from how good her teeth look - if you have a secure large fenced in yard and own your own home and can provide a loving relationship for this sweet dog - please send me an email and explain what you have to offer precious as a forever home - she has already been spayed and is up to date on all her shots...- - - - - - April 5, 06 UPDATE - we have gotten so many responses on Precious that I know she will be adopted soon - and since so many have wanted to adopt her - I did a search on other Irish Wolfhounds who needed help and found this beautiful Irish Wolfhound by the name of Babe's or just Babe - she is in a Shelter in Mansfield, Ohio and we are arranging transportation to get her here to our Rescue as soon as possible - I am trying to post her picture and she looks like Precious' twin sister - unfortuantly the picture is not that good and she looks scared when it was taken - but we here she is adapting well and her tail is up and wagging - so if your interested in adopting Precious, please also consider adopting Babe... - - - - - May 1,06 - Precious and Babe have been adopted and the new parents are picking them up on the 15th of May,06 - They live in southern Alabama and are driving up - I am leaving their profiles up just in case the adoption doesnt work and taking back up applications...(But very unlikly they will not take them - they are both great dogs) - - - - - May 14,06 - Precious was adopted today by a wonderful family who drove all the way up from southern Alabama - she will have a great big fenced in yard where she can run and be safe - Another happy ending from Happy Endings Animal Rescue...
