THESE PUPPIES WILL BE GIVEN 1-2 PUPPY SHOTS AND DEWORMINGS AND BE MICROCHIPPED PRIOR TO ADOPTION. THEY WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO BE GET 1-2 MORE PUPPY VACCINATIONS BY 4 MONTHS OF AGE AND BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED AND RABIES BY 6 MONTHS OF AGE.
Adoption donation averages $200-300 for adults and pups older than 6 months (tiny puppies slightly more). This is due to the rising costs of veterinary care, gasoline prices, and boarding fees which are paid for out of our own pockets. As we are not funded by anyone - adoption donations help to offset only a part of our cost of getting the dog ready for adoption. All dogs > 6months are vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, wormed and have a goody starter bag. Puppies < 6 months will have at least 2 puppy vaccinations, microchipped, wormed, and goody starter bag with an average fee of $200-250. If age appropriate, will potentially also be spayed/neutered and have rabies vaccination also with an average fee of $250-300.
HOPE-FOSTER is up-to-date with routine shots.
