Shih Tzu [Mix]

Richie is an adorable 2 year old shih tzu mix. He weighs 11-1/2 pounds. Richie is chocolate brown in color with a white blaze on his chest. He is a sweet boy and seems to be house trained but will need reinforcement. He gets along with all the other dogs in the house. Richie has a certain amount of anxiety when his person leaves the house and will cry if he "loses" you. He does not do well crated for long periods of time, but he will need to be left either crated or in a secure location when you leave the house. For this reason, Richie really needs a stay at home owner--somebody who is home most of the time. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Richie will not be placed in a home with children under 8 years of age (as far as we know he has never been around kids). He is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. We do approve out of state adoptions, but only if the adopter is willing to drive to the foster home. We do not ship or transport our dogs. Richie's adoption donation is $200.00.
