More About Rain [DC]
Rain is a female Eclectus Parrot and is just a little shy, so she would like someone who will go slowly to help her adjust to her new home. Like all birds of her type, Rain needs a special diet because Eclectus are sensitive to the preservatives and dyes often found in human foods or prepared parrot diets (pellets). Phoenix Landing will provide her adopter with all the necessary information about feeding Rain or any of our other "Ekkies".

Phoenix Landing's primary areas of operation include: Maryland (MD), Washington DC, Virginia (VA), and Western North Carolina (NC). Our Education program is a FUN and required part of Phoenix Landing's adoption process. For this reason, our adoption program is limited to these and surrounding areas (including some bordering areas in PA, DE, WV, TN, GA). If you live outside of our adoption area, we encourage you to locate a non-profit organization in your area or email us for help finding one. Many parrots need our help!
